Roasted Brussels Sprouts

These Brussels sprouts were roasted in the Big Green Egg Cast Iron Skillet.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (0.5 kg) brussels sprouts, trimmed and sliced in half 
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil 
  • small onion, diced 
  • cloves garlic, minced 
  • slices of bacon, chopped 
  •  Salt and pepper to taste 

Instructions

Step 1

Set the EGG for direct cooking at 400°F/204°C with the cast iron skillet in the EGG to preheat.

Step 2

Combine the brussels sprouts, olive oil, onion, garlic, bacon, salt and pepper. Pour the mixture into the cast iron. Cook for approximately 20 minutes or until desired tenderness. Remove from the EGG and enjoy!
